I found this recipe at Betty Crocker. It looks yummy, doesn't it? I've got a lot of pool parties to attend this summer, and this is another dish I will be bringing with me, especially since it is diabetic friendly.
1 | cup vanilla yogurt | |||||
1 | tbsp salad dressing | |||||
1/4 | tsp grated orange peel
2 | tbsp orange juice | |||||
1 | pint (2 cups) strawberries, sliced
1 | kiwifruit, peeled, cut up
1 | small bunch seedless green grapes, cut in half
1 | can (11 oz) mandarin orange segments, drained |
You could also add in pineapple, melon balls, marshmallows, mango, banana.
1. In a large glass or plastic bowl, combine yogurt, salad dressing, orange peel and orange juice.
2. Gently stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least an hour but no more then 4 hours.
*Tip: the yogurt mix also makes a great fruit dip by itself.
